About Us
Northern Log Supply is a family-owned lumber mill headquartered in Mayville, Michigan.
We ship anywhere in the U.S., bringing quality pine and cedar wood directly to you for residential, wholesale, and commercial use without the middleman or mark-up. We’re proud to say we control the entire process from harvesting to delivery to your site. Our craftsmen saw, dry, mill, and pre-finish your wood products to order. Every piece of wood is handled and inspected by our staff before we select it for your project.
Sourced from the woods of Michigan, we provide a vast supply of wood products made for easy installation, which include: paneling, railing, log siding, barn wood siding, trusses, staircases, doors, and custom and milled wood products, all of which can come pre-finished or pre-stained to cut down on the expense and installation time.
History
In 2003, Peter Green and his father started Greens Log Rails, with the focus solely on log railing. It wasn’t long before Peter and his wife, Katie, expanded the business, forming Northern Log Supply in 2006.
In the early days, Northern Log manufactured log siding, paneling, and staircases. Soon, a finishing room was built to meet the needs of customers who wanted their product pre-stained or pre-finished.
As Northern Log continued to grow, Peter and Katie were inspired to include modern rustic products, including barn wood and shiplap, in their line of wood products. Together with their team of expert craftsmen, Northern Log has the capabilities and knowledge of commercial and residential building to help you from design to build.
